Earning with Rydei
-
How is my pay calculated? What you’ll be paid is based on how long you drive during a ride (time), how far you drive during a ride (distance), 100% of what passengers tip you (tips), and bonuses you make (bonuses). The biggest part of your earnings will be from the time and distance driven with your passenger in the car, plus you get all of your tips and bonuses.
-
What do ‘base rate’ and ‘minimum rate’ mean in my ‘rate card’?Your base rate and minimum rate help establish a minimum amount for how much drivers might earn on a ride in your city — especially on short rides. These rates may differ from city to city, and some cities may not have a base rate. If you have these rates in your ‘rate card,’ here’s what it means: Your ‘base rate’ is what you earn by starting a ride. Your ‘minimum rate’ is the minimum fare you’ll make on a ride. You may also see a ‘maximum rate,’ which is the maximum fare you can receive for a ride. You can always see these rates in your ‘rate card.’
-
When are bonuses offered?Bonuses are generally available when more passengers need rides, and more drivers are needed on the road. So, you’re more likely to earn bonuses during busy times, in busy locations.
-
What are drivers earning in my area?Your earnings are based on how much time you’re booked with a passenger. The number of drivers on the road and the number of passengers requesting rides may impact earnings or bonuses. See how much drivers are making in your area here.
